Slippery Elm is derived from a native tree in North America. Only the inner bark of the slippery elm tree is used to create this fine cream coloured powder. Once harvested the bark is dried at low temperatures to retain as much of the nutrients as possible and then milled into a fine powder. Slippery elm has been used in herbal remedies in North America for centuries to soothe a number of symptoms both orally and externally in healing salves. Naturally free from gluten and wheat. Non-irradicated. Ingredients: 100% Organic Slippery Elm Powder (Ulmus fulva) Directions For Use: Internally: Mix 1 teaspoon with a small amount of water and dissolve into a thick paste. To reach desired consistency, continue to add water slowly while mixing. Best taken at night and take at least 2 hours before any medication. Externally: Mix with water to form a paste and apply to the affected area. Do not apply to open wounds.
